Cadets practiced formation flying with two other cadets in a multiplayer session of Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Cadets learn about model rockets and launch them at our weekly meetings.

Cadets practice taking a bearing. Our unit is able to practice ground
land navigation and ELT search in the wooded area adjacent to our squadron
headquarters. Navigation with compass and map is part of ground team
qualification training.
Our unit toured the Ohio Army National Guard Aviation Support Facility in Akron, Ohio. A Ch-47 Chinook helicopter is being refueled for a night mission with the aircrews using night-vision goggles.

Airport. CAP cadets supported flight line crews during the airshow.  Cadets receive orientation flights in the Civil Air Patrol aircraft.
